build, manage, and convert a strong outbound pipeline
proactively acquire new sme and academic clients
identify high-potential projects aligned with eu funding programmes
lead commercial conversations with decision-makers
negotiate contracts and close deals
consistently deliver against defined revenue and activity targets
this role requires structured prospecting, resilience, and a disciplined sales approach
performance expectations
high-volume outreach and proactive market development
ownership of yearly sales targets
short to mid-cycle b2b sales
kpi-tracking and performance accountability
this is not a coordination role. it is a commercial growth position.
what we’re looking for
3–5 years of proven b2b sales or business development experience
experience in financing & subsidy landscape in technology, sustainability, innovation
strong commercial mindset with the ability to engage senior technical stakeholders
demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets
master’s degree in sciences such as engineering, life sciences, or related field
experience with horizon europe, eic, or other eu / national funding programmes is a strong advantage.
