Catalyze is a consultancy company specialized in raising (non-dilutive and dilutive) funds for the most ambitious R&D and scale-up projects and technologies in the field of sustainable development and life sciences and health. Work Student – VC LAUNCHPAD

As an intern within our investment team, you will support the scaleup of our VC Launchpad program tailored to startups in the deeptech and sustainability space. You will work in close collaboration with our investment leads to support our clients in securing their Seed-to-Series A fundraising rounds. You will learn and support us to develop compelling equity investment cases alongside corresponding VC fundraising strategies and how to guide our clients through the dealmaking phases. We look forward to seeing the positive impact you’ll create for our VC Launchpad and our clients.
 
Responsibilities

• Content support for developing investment cases with focus on pitch decks, financial models, and business plans for clients
• Market Research support
• CRM database maintenance and support for (AI) automation efforts
• Logistics support for physical and online event production and execution
• Marketing support for developing communication material and campaigns

Qualifications

• You have a passion for Venture Capital in the deeptech and sustainability industries
• You have a relevant background in finance, business, and innovation
• You excel in transforming complex research and data into clear, compelling narratives by crafting high-quality, visually engaging presentations and reports.
• Preferred are MBA students

Competences 

• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite is a plus (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Highly organized, independent, and result-driven with a strong commercial awareness
• Excellent communication & logistics skills
• Excellent command of English language
• Is pro-active
